SGPC-Don't commit any wrong or blunder
Are the SGPC and Akalis representing
only to "true Sikhs"
* not Sikhs?

Who will identify the agents doing
Dhande Di Sikhi
and Bhekh Di Sikhi ?

Does Sri Guru Granth Sahib differentiate and draw any line of partition to that extent among humans or Sikhs after elevation of Adi Granth to Guru Granth Sahib?

Sikh Definition and any Controversy Avoidable

After Elevation of Adi Granth to Guru Granth Sahib:The Adi Granth was conferred the title of "Guru of the Sikhs" by the tenth Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, in October, 1708, and thereafter rest everything is secondary and optional for Sikhs.

Guru  Gobind Singh Guru (1666-1708), the tenth Guru in Sikh tradition, affirmed the sacred text Adi Granth as his successor, terminating the line of human Gurus, and elevating the text to Guru Granth Sahib. From that point on, the text remained not only the holy scripture of the Sikhs, but is also regarded by them as the living embodiment of the Ten Gurus.

The role of Guru Granth Sahib, as a source for all purposes including Sikh definition and Rehat Maryada or guide of prayer, is pivotal in worship in Sikhism.   Guru Gobind Singh ji officially ordained Guru Granth Sahib as the final and perpetual Guru of Sikhs.

But According to SGPC

(A)    Men or women with trimmed hair, moustaches and beard are neither Sikh nor Sehajdari Sikh (not baptised), though born in a Sikh family, SGPC chief Avtar Singh Makkar told a press conference on Sunday.

(B)    Sehajdhari Sikh includes people born in a Sikh family but not adhering to Sikh way     of life and symbols. They should recite moolamantra path and abstain from liquor, cigar and halal meat, Makkar said

"true Sikhs"*  *The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), the supreme temporal body of the Sikhs, has declared that a believer can not be a true Sikh, though born in a Sikh family, if one trims hair and beard.

SGPC-Don't commit any wrong or blunder to face the odd situation and questions about a 'Sikh definition'

1.   Who is out to disown majority of Sikhs in the name that only a "keshdhari" having faith in Guru Granth Sahib and Sikh tenets could be a Sikh?

2.   What about other Sikhs who have faith in Guru Granth Sahib and Sikh tenets and performing religious ceremonies according to Sikh religion?

3.   The team (Prof. Darshan Singh, Joginder Singh Vedanti, Jasbir Singh Rode, Jasjit Singh from UK, Hazur Singh from Hyderabad, Harvinder Singh Sarna from Delhi, Manjit Singh Calcutta, former secretary, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Mahant Manjit Singh Jammu, Malkit Singh Nagpur (member, SGPC) and Tarsem Singh ) is with whom?

4.   Is the team ahead of Badal Dal to prove its sincerity to Delhi Darbar at the cost of Sikhs?

5.   Is the team combination of true Sikhs or the agents for the political reasons?

6.   Have Sikhs not tested the team and people like them so far?

7.    Are the team and people like them for their bargain always befool Sikhs especially new generation by taking the advantage of their innocence and helplessness?

8.    These are the questions required to be answered by the team and their henchmen (Former MP Amrik Singh Aliwal, former MLA Talib Singh Sandhu, Ashok Singh Baghrian, Harcharan Singh (US), Baldev Singh Sirsa (Panch Pardhani), Jaswant Singh Mann (All India Shiromani Akali Dal) and Gurdip Singh (Shiromani Akali Dal 1920)) including the agents doing Dhande Di Sikhi (those who become Sikhs for commercial motives) and Bhekh Di Sikhi (those who accept Sikhism formally to imitate Sikhs for material gains and to exploit Sikhism for their ignoble ends) about their or anybody's capacity and competency to disown Sikhs in majority and declare that only "keshdharis" having faith in Guru Granth Sahib and Sikh tenets could be Sikhs?

9.   What about the Sikh who is born in Sikh families and perform his/her all religious ceremonies according to Sikh religion though trimming/cutting his/her hair, beard or eye-brows in any manner?

10. What about the Sikh warriors, Scientists, Doctors, Researchers and other specialists and generalists working in different fields though trimming/cutting their hair, beard etc in any manner?

11. Does the disowning and reducing Sikhs in the Sikh definition to further minority status not mean the SGPC surrendered also politically to commit a political wrong or blunder by cutting short it's and for Akalis Sikh vote bank hereafter?

12. The majority of the agents and Dhande De Sikh (those who become Sikhs for commercial motives) and Bhekh De Sikh (those who accept Sikhism formally to imitate Sikhs for material gains and to exploit Sikhism for their ignoble ends) are already not with common Sikhs in majority and they (the agents and Dhande De Sikh and Bhekh De Sikh) are with non-Sikh leadership i.e. BJP/ Congress and others?

13. Are by disowning common Sikhs in majority in Sikh definition, who are trimming/cutting their hair, beard etc in any manner, are Akalis prepared to call themselves not Sikh leaders for them (common Sikhs) hereafter? Or

 14. Does it not mean that Akalis ultimately say that such disowned common Sikhs in majority must vote for non-Sikh leadership i.e. BJP/ Congress and others?

15. If answer is 'yes' then Akalis as Sikh leadership lost every right to claim votes of the common Sikhs in majority, the Sikh warriors, Scientists, Doctors, Researchers and other specialists and generalists working in different fields who are trimming/cutting their hair, beard etc in any manner?

16. If answer is 'no' then the proposed 'Sikh definition' is  a wrong/blunder religiously and politically being anti to those whoever have faith in Guru Granth Sahib and Sikh tenets and performing religious ceremonies according to Sikh religion.

17. Are the dissident religious bigwigs versus Badal camp loyalists not playing havoc with Sikhs and Sikhism as stooges of Delhi Darbar?

18. Who is playing in whose hands?

19. Has the so-called Sikh leadership any answer after independence of India?

20. Under the circumstances, leaderless Sikhs left or would be left with no alternative except cry for justice before the International community and other relevant worldwide NGO's for the purpose.

Who will identify the agents doing Dhande Di Sikhi (those who become Sikhs for commercial motives) and Bhekh Di Sikhi (those who accept Sikhism formally to imitate Sikhs for material gains and to exploit Sikhism for their ignoble ends) in order to tarnish the image of Sikhism worldwide?

To find out the agents deployed, please do read the ‘Hidden Deceptive Aspect of Sikh Definition’

The First Global Sikh Civil Rights Conference?

Now my Comment stands removed

In view all this expressed above by the personalities, do anybody realize that I, myself while sitting and observing in the centre of Ludhiana i.e. District Courts, D.C. Complex-Ludhiana, Punjab, India performing the duties and projecting the feelings of common Sikhs and others independently from the grass root level in the name of Sikh Vichar Manch without any support of any agency or the known panthic people in any manner, who always quarrel for the reasons of their self praise etc or deployed to act so selfishly.

I consider all Sikhs are members of Sikh Vichar Manch to guide, suggest and to assess my performance of my expression on different issues like ‘Definition of Sikh’, ‘State Terrorism’, ‘Cry for justice’, ‘Human Rights’ etc  on their (Sikhs) behalf displayed on my website: http://www.sikhvicharmanch.com/; exclusively acting as Chief and Spokesperson of the Sikh Vichar Manch. I was snubbed occasionally by the persons deployed in large scale by various Indian agencies within and abroad especially after the Indian Army Attack on Punjab for eliminating Sikhs religiously and physically ( the operation blue star) 1984.

Seeing the odd acts and conduct of the various Sikh organizations, parties, groups, the Sikh Vichar Manch feels that Indian agencies remained successful in their task to keep dividing Sikhs in the name and on different issues/affairs important for Sikhs. It is also obvious that yet the agencies have not finished their task to their satisfaction. Whoever differs with me honestly, he has also every right to snub me like the persons deployed for the purpose by the agencies.

It is my submission before all those, who are still ignorant about all this.

Thought of the day

Now, under the changed circumstances after independence of India, the planted Sikh leadership is either acting as slave or out to suppress their own community for the reasons of their selfishness and foolishness with the result Sikhs are leaderless.

Respected Advocate Balbir Singh Sooch and other Sikh Cyber Members,

I wish to share slight modification to your statement below, that seed was, in fact, planted in 1946 by MK Gandhi and JL Nehru when they gave false promises to the Sikhs. Within a year on 3 June 1947, Baldev Singh and Master Tara Singh had tasted the Eve Garden's Apple by disobeying the Teachings of our Gurus Sahibaan (1469 - 1708).

Thus except few Sikhs, who could be counted on the tips of hands, all our Sikh Leaders/Jathedaars whether political or religious have deceived the Sikh Nation.

40% slaves of Congress; 40% slaves of BJP/RSS; 15% licking the shoes of so-called sant-babas or other such cults/sects.

Whereas 5% have become rudderless and disunited. Guru Granth Sahib is only for Mathaa Taek only or for Bhais/Raagis/Gianis - Rotiyas Karan Puraiy Taal.

We ourselves have become our own enemies. There is no difference between the Chaukidaar & Chor; or between the Dealer & Leader!!

Thanks for your wake-up call though we wish to rejoice sleep and slavery.

Gurmit Singh (Sydney - Australia)
