Questions Irritating Sikhs Mind for Specific Reasons and Facts

Extract: Myth: Sikhs Who Support Khalistan are extremists and terrorists
http://emgonline.co.uk/news.php?news=9308

“Reality: One need only to look at the case of Quebec, to know that separatism does not equal terrorism. The Bloc Quebecois which is a separatist party wishing to break Quebec away from Canada, sits in the Federal Parliament. The Parti Quebecois, another separatist party, governed Quebec for several years. No one would legitimately suggest that Quebec separatists are extremists or terrorists. Yet, the same courtesy is not extended to Sikhs who may support the right of self determination for those Sikhs living in India.

There are many Sikhs who support the idea of an independent Sikh state, most commonly called Khalistan. As with Quebec separatism, this issue has been in existence in the Sikh community for decades (since at least the independence of India in 1947). Peacefully advocating for the right of a people to self-determination is a right protected by the United Nations, and promoted and supported (at least in the case of Quebec) by the Canadian government. Canadian Sikhs should have the same right to peacefully and legally discuss these issues.”

Questions Irritating Sikhs Mind for Specific Reasons and Facts

In the light of  Myth: Sikhs who support Khalistan are extremists and terrorists:  who can claim challengingly that persons allowed to visit by the Indian government on the call of Sikh diaspora etc, were and are sincere and honest for the cause i.e. to support the idea of an independent Sikh state, most commonly called Khalistan?

Were they occasionally not there to read the statement prepared tactically by the intelligence agencies of the Indian government or on their behalf? And they do not at all support the idea of an independent Sikh state, most commonly called Khalistan.

Were and are such persons not there to loot, create rift, friction and factionalism on non-relevant religious issues in Sikhs, just to bring Sikhs in the category of extremists and terrorists at the instance of the intelligence agencies of the Indian government?

God may bless them!

Are the Sikh diaspora and others intelligent enough to understand all this or are they also knowingly or innocently serving the purpose of the intelligence agencies of the Indian government to level Sikhs as extremists and terrorists?

Respectable S. Balbir Singh Ji,

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa

Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh,

The World Sikh Organization of Canada is a non-profit human rights organization registered in Canada. Founded in 1984 with a mandate to promote and protect the interests of the Sikh Diaspora, as well as to promote and advocate for the protection of human rights for all individuals, irrespective of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, social and economic status. This organization aims to provide a credible voice to the Sikh community at the national and international stage, particularly in the pursuit of human rights.

Some of our members have followed various articles/reports authored by Late S. Gurbhajan Singh Gill and you. These members have expressed positive feedback about contribution of Sikh Vichar Manch to Sikh psyche and proposed that your presence will be beneficiary to all of us as we discuss/plan our future endeavours. We are approaching a very significant milestone in the history of Sikhs and plan to utilize this occasion of commemorating 25th Anniversary of "Saka Akal Takhat" to reach out to as many Canadians as possible to acquaint them with achievements and challenges over the past quarter of a century and explore opportunities that lie ahead to make the world a better place to live.

We would like to avail of this opportunity to also acknowledge and honour your contributions in our collective pursuit of long term goals in an enlightened, diplomatic, political and effective manner. We are hopeful that your schedule will accommodate our intended program of events as follows;

Annual Parliamentary Dinner – House of Commons, Ottawa on June 04, 2009

Community Banquet – Toronto on June 05, 2009

Public Function in an open-air forum – Dixie Road Gurdwara(aka Ontario Khalsa Darbar), Toronto on June 06, 2009

Similar events in Vancouver, B.C. on June 13 & 14, 2009

We also hope to have similar gatherings and commemoration events in Calgary and Edmonton.

We would like to request your confirmation to enable us to make necessary planning preparations. The WSO will undertake to pay for your traveling, boarding and lodging expenses.

Please feel free to call Gian Singh Sandhu, Senior Policy Advisor WSO or me for any additional information that may be required. His telephone number is 250-305-2440 and email address gian@jackpinegroup.com

With best wishes and regards,

Yours sincerely,

I did send my ‘Confirmation and Acceptance of Invitation’ and they connected me on telephone/mobile also and the rest must be best known to them. What happened?

Can ‘The World Sikh Organization of Canada (WSO’) claim that whosoever enjoyed, invited or are enjoying the feast and booty with them so far, are they all baptized Sikhs and all support the idea of an independent Sikh state, most commonly called Khalistan?

All these questions must be irritating Sikhs including me for specific reasons and facts in mind.

Please Note: The intelligence agencies of the Indian government leveled me so far as ‘Khalistani’, for the reasons best known to them and you. Who was right or wrong? Have you any answer of it? Shall I admit or confess that I remained in bad society?

Please suggest, if you can do so?

I personally think that Sikh diaspora and others, especially ‘The World Sikh Organization of Canada’ (WSO) has no answer to all these questions.

Neither you have capacity, competency and ability nor were and are it in your hand to understand all this and reply-Thanks
