Pakistan hopes that Obama’s Trip to India Will Create Lasting Peace in the Region

Mr. Barack Obama, the President of the United States of America

Now it looks, India has already agreed to the terms and conditions of US in the field of economy, to bring peace to the region under the garb of countering-terrorism jointly (face saving excuse being advanced), but, India is to be kept unarmed forever (The follower of non-violence as India is being now glorified in the name of Gandhi), fully controlled and also promised protected by US nuclear support to India.

Pakistan already feels protected as her safety and security seem secured by US and China. It is significant to mention that from WASHINGTON, Pakistan’s envoy to the United States on Saturday sounded an upbeat note on President Barack Obama’s visit to India, voicing hope it will help bring peace to the region.

For the reason, US President Obama was being advised to 'offer Prime Minister Manmohan Singh the assurance that the United States is committed to maintaining stability in the region - beginning with Afghanistan - and that India will have US support in checking overreaching by China.

The stage has reached when India is almost not in the race to develop its technology and the know how except suicidal weapons, neither in the agricultural field nor in the field of its security i.e. defense as the inference can safely be drawn from the tactical discussions on TVs.

India’s 65 % population is non-participant in the Indian system, living below poverty line (BPL) or on the line of poverty. Thus, it seems in the context, the San Francisco Chronicle editorially commenting on 'President Obama's passage to India' noted that 'over the past several years, India has become one of the United States' most important emerging economic relationships' (dependent).

As US President Obama’s trip to India observed so far and the rest criticism by the opposition and similar others is politics and tactical, only to divert the attention of public from the real issues involved in Obama’s trip to India.
